About Me
Based in Nottingham, I am currently studying at Nottingham Trent University in the final year of a Photography Degree. My photographic practice mainly lies within portraiture.
I tend to use photography to explore the representations of women and femininity in our culture, whether that be through literature, poetry, the media, fashion or social groups.
Many of my images are influenced by feminism and feminist subcultures, including everything from music, zines, art, literature and conversation, which is most evident in my latest project. I also feel my work is much affected by the DIY ethos, believing that art is not an elitist pursuit but for everyone.
